With an endless stream of options at your fingertips, what's really worth shopping right now? Ultimately, that's up to you, but in Bazaar's monthly newsletter, one of our editors will share the highly specific items that recently earned not only an "Add to Cart" but the follow-through as well. For October, associate editor Chelsey Sanchez shares what landed on her doorstep last month. |

| | Libras are known as much for their fondness for pretty things as they are for their social-butterfly predispositions. As a Libra who knows many other Libras, I've naturally been busy this month, and so have my calendar and my wallet. The amount of time I've spent scrolling through page after page of shopping links until I hit gifting gold is not an insignificant number of hours. (Who doesn't love an excuse to treat themselves when their own birthday is around the corner?) Of course, the real issue of shopping as a Libra is our notorious indecisiveness—which, in my humble opinion, makes my endorsements of the following five purchases that much more credible. Trust me when I say I deliberated over each item with the intense scrutiny worthy of a PhD dissertation. Keep scrolling to see what made it into my shopping cart. |

The indisputable social highlight of my October is the forthcoming wedding of Bazaar culture editor Bianca Betancourt. (You may remember her fabulous bridal picks from the June edition of this newsletter!) I love an excuse to dress up, especially for an event that will undoubtedly see many other fashion insiders dressed to the nines, and I happened upon the perfect wedding guest look on the RealReal. This corseted teal and hot-pink number is an '80s-era demi-couture evening gown by Vicky Tiel (the very same designer who crafted that gorgeous red dress Julia Roberts wears in Pretty Woman). You can see the exact one I bought here, but there's also this similar, shorter version still available for purchase on the RealReal. |

| I am determined to bring more color into my wardrobe this fall, which naturally leans toward white, beige, and olive green tones. I took the plunge by buying a pair of these searingly bright red tights, inspired by the endless rotation of Pinterest girlies (and this Anya Taylor-Joy look) effortlessly pulling it off. I ended up wearing them to my birthday dinner and found them surprisingly easy to style. They looked great with a ribbed turtleneck, a basic black miniskirt, and kitten heels. |

To celebrate the recent birthday of a close friend who happens to love hosting dinner parties, I bought her this pink glass cake stand molded in a vintage floral design. It's an elegant, timeless addition to any tablescape, and I love that it comes in three different colorways: pale pink, deep amethyst, and ruby red. |

| Despite growing up in the California suburbs, I've never been much of a Birkenstock girl. But when I first saw these Boston clogs make the rounds on Instagram and Pinterest, it was like scratching an itch I didn't know I had. Still, in true Libra fashion, I waited a year before taking the plunge. I wanted to see if it was simply another microtrend that would die down within 365 days, or a footwear option I could genuinely see myself wearing for years to come. Now, I find myself always looking forward to an excuse to slip them off my shoe rack. |

In my quest to add more color to my fall wardrobe, this COS sweater certainly does the trick. I love the orange, yellow, and pink stripes, which, when amplified by the fuzzy effects of the mohair and merino wool blend, remind me of soft, late-summer sunsets. Its caramel and creamy white stripes also help ground the sweater with other pieces in my wardrobe, which tend toward a more minimalist palette. I can't wait to wear it with a trench coat and some dark-wash jeans. |
