Low levels of this nutrient impact blood sugarMagnesium is well respected for its calming qualities and ability to support better sleep, but we’re now seeing a new side of this beloved mineral in blood sugar regulation. Researchers compared blood magnesium levels in adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar was well-managed to those whose levels were high:¹
- Magnesium levels were lower in people with higher blood sugar: The median blood magnesium level was lower in participants with higher HbA1c, compared with a higher level in those with better-managed blood sugar.
- Lower magnesium levels were associated with higher triglycerides: This suggests a potential relationship between magnesium status and other markers of metabolic health.
The study doesn’t show us what comes first, the low magnesium or the elevated blood sugar, but we do know magnesium plays a role in insulin signaling and the movement of glucose into cells. Read more about the underappreciated link between magnesium and blood sugar, here.

Too many women quietly work around life disrupting bladder leaks everyday, whether it’s from laughing, sneezing, working out, or any other of life’s normal activities. The Uresta Bladder Support offers a new way to handle bladder leaks:
- It’s a reusable bladder support helping women stop stress urinary incontinence leaks before they happen (like a sports bra for the bladder).
- The Uresta Starter Kit has 3 sizes for individual fit and activity needs so you can find the right fit for you.
- Made from medical-grade resin. A non absorbent material that is free of latex, rubber and BPA.
- 97% of women saw a reduction in leaks & 92% felt more confident in public.
Uresta is a discrete, self-managed option that requires zero prescription or surgery—you’re fully in charge. Join the 80,000+ women living leak-free. |

Break free from bladder leaks |

Unlike pads that absorb leaks after they occur, Uresta is inserted vaginally and sits beneath the urethra, providing support through the vaginal wall to help prevent leaks. 97% of women see a reduction in leaks and 94% would recommend it to a friend. 80,000+ women are already living leak-free with Uresta. |

If you do one thing… stand up every 25 minsIt’s time to give those powerful thigh muscles some extra love. Researchers investigated thigh muscle activity using shorts with special sensors to see what happens when sitting for longer periods of time versus more frequent activity. Because our thighs are such large muscles, they play an important role in metabolic health through glucose and hormone regulation.
- Detectable muscle activity reached its lowest point around 25 minutes into a sitting bout.
- What people did before sitting mattered: Walking or vigorous activity beforehand helped maintain more muscle activity while sitting.
These are two simple daily shifts for better metabolic and muscular health—get some movement before you sit down to work, and get up every 25 minutes for a break. Read more on the full study here.
